I was born in Billericay, Essex but moved with my family to Suffolk in my early teens. I started working for SEH Ipswich straight from school in 1982. Whilst working, the company also sent me to college on day release and two evenings to study. After 6 years I left to work for a national civil engineering contractor working on several major civils projects. It was during this period that I gained my professional qualification.
In 1996 I was approached to return to the group to assist in the running of its surfacing company SEH Asphalt as a Director and it is in this capacity that I have remained to this day. During this time I have been very fortunate to work with the most talented and conscientious team.
